Food Xplorer (FOX)- semi-quantitative test to determine IgG-dependent hypersensitivity to 286 food products

Food Xplorer (FOX) - semi-quantitative test to determine IgG-dependent hypersensitivity to 286 food products

Advantages:

  • Nano-technology
  • 286 food antigens from 13 food groups
  • Main products used in our country and in the world
  • Blood serum is used for the analysis
  • FOX is used by:

– to clarify dietary status
– to monitor compliance with the diet
– with immunologically caused food intolerance
– for diagnosis of sensitivity to food products
– with “leaky” bowel syndrome

Main indications for the test:

  • Suspicion of IgG-dependent food intolerance
  • Inflammatory bowel diseases
  • Irritable bowel syndrome
  • Depression and migraine

Food allergy type III -

this is a delayed hypersensitivity reaction, representing a systemic reaction of the whole body involving several organ systems. Dysfunction of the gastrointestinal tract is the main factor in the pathogenesis of various systemic manifestations. Due to the high permeability of the intestinal walls, dietary proteins can cross the intestinal barrier in an unusual way, engaging the immune system and ultimately causing inflammatory reactions. Accompanying symptoms are delayed and range from gastrointestinal symptoms and joint pain to migraine. Delayed-type allergic reactions to food products are mediated by IgG antibodies. By detecting food-specific IgG antibodies in the blood serum, allergens that provoke a reaction can be easily identified and symptoms alleviated by avoiding the relevant foods.

All major sources of type III food allergy are identified using FOX.

Technology

Step 1:
adhesion of antigen extract to nanoparticles
Step 2:
adhesion to the solid phase
